About
My name is Rosanne L. Hartman, Ph.D.
After retiring as a professor in the field of Communication, My focus to other areas of interest. Before retiring, I began to think about how I would like to spend my time, Starting with open studio time, I began to learn the art of creating pottery. It is now a passion for me

My name is Rosanne Hartman
My interest in the art of creating functional pottery began over 4 years ago. I was moving towards retiring and decided to try creating pottery on a wheel. Going with friends to "open studio" time was a great way to begin learning the artistry of pottery creation. Now it has become a passion. Since that time, I have a small studio in my home by converting our front hallway into a small studio. Creating pottery on the wheel is relaxing, gratifying and a great way to spend "retirement."
Rosanne L. Hartman, Ph.D. is an emeritus professor in the field of communication and author of a children’s book entitled, Cal’s New Sister: Building Sibling Connections. It is an omage to her two grandchildren.
